I haven't seen anything to indicate Coleby has an offensive game other than right at the hoop. He's big enough and proportioned well enough to establish and maintain position on the block. FVV, Baker, Cotton, and probably others can make an entry pass.
With that in mind, he's going to be getting the ball in scoring position. Is an opponent going to pull a defender off of Baker, Early. or Carter to double Coleby? Good luck with that. If Coleby can catch and pass (skills that sometimes eluded Orukpe), then opponents can "pick their poison" when he gets the ball down low.
Sometimes the stats a player gets depend on what the players around him are doing. Chances are that Coleby could have had better stats at a higher-level program. I recall he was about 9 and 6 for his career to this point. In Marshall's system, that's all he needs to do. Bump the boards a bit the way Marshall coaches.Last edited by Aargh; July 23, 2013, 01:21 AM.The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

In his one season of Division 1 basketball as a "lower" Division 1 level, his states were not overwhelming.
His points per minute played his junior year was higher than anyone on our team last year but Early and Hall.
Might not be overwhelming, but I don't think we need overwhelming from him. If he's at least above average, I'm very confident about our season.Originally posted by BleacherReportFred VanVleet on Shockers' 3-Pt Shooting Confidence -- ' Honestly, I just tell these guys to let their nuts hang.'

Kadeem is in camp with AIA. They'll post domestic practice and off-court activity vids (first two or three are up) at this link: http://www.youtube.com/user/AIABasketball?feature=watch
Their games and overseas practices will be hosted on their lifestream site here: http://www.livestream.com/AIABasketball?DB_OEM_ID=7500“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”

I like the 24-second clock interviews with the team. Entertaining.
