And another thing..I think the fouls were even. Lousiville fouls. End of story. They play great defense and that means they foul more than others. I can say that objectively. With that in mind, the jump ball at the end of the game was a good call. Was it quick? Maybe. Was it a foul? Absolutely not. It was a 3 point game with 6 seconds left. Would a foul have made you guys win? I dont think so.

But regardless, those calls didn't decide the game's outcome. Your pressure got to us down the stretch and some of your bench players made clutch shots at key times in your comeback. We played well for about 35 minutes but you played better in the other 5.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree, if they would have called the foul for Baker getting slapped in the face like they should have we would have tied the game up right there and changed the entire complexion of the end of the game. I don't know the exact rules there, but couldn't that have even been a flagrant 1? 2 shots and the ball. The last jump ball call was questionable at best. The ESPN radio announcers even said the officials changed the way they were calling the game late to consistently calling the 3rd foul in any one possession. Now maybe its my b&g glasses but even that didn't seem too consistent on both ends.

No complaining about the officials. Bad jump ball call? Sure, but it didn't decide the game. We could have forced OT, but it is a low percentage play that could have been nullified by fouling in the backcourt anyway. It would be really hard to blame the officials when you were in the bonus for the last 12-13 minutes of the game, and you are messing around airballing free throws.

The boys really played great, but they just ran out of gas. I don't care what anyone says, Louisville is still the best team I have seen all year, and our guys proved what we already knew by making Las Vegas eat a huge pile of crap on this game. We had a great team. You just tip your cap to Louisville for refusing to fold up even when it looked like they were going down.
