When an injured player is unable to attempt a free throw try(s),
one of the four remaining players on the playing court shall be selected by the
opposing coach to attempt the free throw try(s) unless the committed foul was
either intentional personal or flagrant. In such a case, the injured player’s coach
shall select any player or team member to attempt the free throw try(s).

One thing I absolutely hate is reviewing the clock to add 0.4 from 4.8 to 5.2 seconds. Unless there happened to be a timeout, the clock would not be reviewed normally and even in the last minutes where the clock is supposed to stop on made shots, it is NEVER stopped the millisecond the ball dlears the rim. the HUMAN scorekeeper (even if it is Ill St employee) cannot be perfect, so why just on a shot where there hapeens to be a timeout?"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

I've at least found solitude that every site I've read talking about the game, whether it's non-Valley, or Valley (minus the Redturd fan site) pretty much universally thinks the kick looked intentional and most are shocked suspensions weren't forthcoming. I think a lot of people pretty much have our side on this one, except of course, the IQ-challenged Redturd fans. They are infatuated with Marshall (I guess he's the bad guy for calling the officials out on a missed flagrant), the free throw switch, and Carl Hall raising his hands into the air instead of realizing their team folded like a cheap suit in the final minute. They haven't thought about the quick, dumbass 3 pointers, or unforced turnovers, or WSU making big shot after big shot in the final minute. To them, it was all "stolen" of them by Gregg Marshall, the MVC, Gerry Pollard, and a universal conspiracy.
It's beyond comical and honestly worse than anything I've seen lobbed in quite a while, including Creighton fan-related.
Sorry, I had to get that off my chest before moving on.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

I don't know why there is all the bird hating going on. I put some thought into it and really, they gift wrapped us a nice little present at the end of the day. There isn't a team in the valley we should LOVE more than the red birds.
Lets take a look. They choked bad early and removed themselves from being a contender. They proceeded to get hot and wreck the seasons of every other valley contender EXCEPT for us. When they had the chance to wreck it for us as well they returned to being chokesters (granted we had everything to do with that). Then they threw big fits and upped the blood pressure and resolve of our team to close out this season before we could leave the building. Then they went out and laid down the next game.
Anyone else notice that if the birds fall to the 7 seed, which they are attempting to do as we speak, we will likely be facing them Friday in St. Louis?
If there is one team we will not be going to sleep on in St. Louis on a Friday, it's them. I look at that like a positive if I'm thinking about how to win that tournament instead of not show up for a winnable game and get surprised.
The birds might be our best friends in this league.
