I also just finished watching the replay on ESPN3. The game was every bit as tough the second time around.

Believe it for not, I settled on listening to the KNSS replay. I'll watch right after Mike is finished. He even makes the replay entertaining.

Ok, let's review. We know that some on here have their questions about the future of the athletic department. Fine and probably legitimate. But I don't get the rest of the talk. It's like some on here are unhappy that all of our present, successful coaches seem to be very happy. That's pretty important, isn't it?

In the real world? Maybe. On here as fellow Shocker fans which is very real? Most definitly. Many moons ago, you posted something about you in Clearwater. Sometimes, I remember things from way back when. Other times, I am clueless what I had for dinner yesterday. My pea brain just works that way. They are great folks in Clearwater and I know for a fact that there are lots of Shocker fans there. PM me sometime and keep rootin for our black and yellow.

The Clearwater references are neat for me. Doc Papish is a rock solid person and and my folks love him.

This team reminds me of some of the '80's baseball teams. Just win. Doesn't mtter how unlikely or how it's done - just find a way and do it.

I thought the team with Durley and Stutz was s good or better than the 2006 S16 team, but that team didn't have the "we win" attitude. The Stutz and Ragland team was better than the Stutz and Durley team.

This team appears to be the best we've had since the Smithson (the First) or Fogler era. We're going to miss Orukpe next year.

This team has true grit, no ****. I'm pleasantly surprised and cautiously optimistic about this particular group. Can't wait to get Hall and Baker back, but very pleased with what's transpired so far.

I just got done watching the replay on ESPN3. I had to see what everyone was saying about all the bad calls against us. I only saw two calls in the game that should have went the other way. One was the charge in the first half against Early, which looked like it should have been a blocking foul. The other, which was obviously a bad call, was the out of bounds to Wichita State, when the replay clearly showed it going off of White. Other than those two, I didn't see any problem with the officiating.

All lot of the time, it isn't that the officials made the wrong call, but that they are inconsistent with their calls. A little contact will get a foul, and then a lot of contact will go unnoticed by the stripes. So we weren't complaining about the calls actually being obviously incorrect, but about how quick the whistle was when we were on defense. It just appeared that we were given far less of a leash to be physical.
