Am I the only one having a hard time deciding exactly what or who Trueshock is going off on or about?
Nope. But I do appreciate his posts. I mean, there's only so much thoughtful, intelligent, and insightful dialogue a guy can stand. I count on True to provide the other asinine incoherent gibberish to balance everything out.

Every Monday, while dissonantly discussing the Associated Press poll, I always try to remind you of one overriding fact: The polls do not matter. They are fun to argue about, for sure, and we do our fair share of that, but always with the unspoken understanding (I hope) that it doesn't actually matter who gets ranked No.
Not necessarily right either. The MWC is a very balanced conference with no true bottom feeders this year. Fresno St has the worst RPI around 170 and it will probably improve. 7 of their 9 teams are in the top 100 RPI. Also, the polls did not completely ignore them. In both polls they have 5 teams in the top 31 or 32. As they will probably get 4-5 teams in the Dance, one shouldn't feel too bad for them.
The MWC's second best RPI belongs to CO St at 17. However, in the non-con, they lost to Colorado and Ill-Chicago with their best wins being either Washington or Denver, both in the mid 70s RPI and they had a OCC SOS around 130. Until we beat CU, we weren't in the top 25 either with a 16-2 record and a better OCC SOS.
UNLV is 3rd, but with 4 losses, all quality. Best wins: Iowa St 31 RPI and California 81 RPI. Also 5 games against 220+ RPI.
Wyoming is 4th. Weak OCC SOS at 150 with best wins against Colorado and Denver and now they have a conference loss to Fresno St.
SDSU is 5th in RPI around 35 with 4, but quality, losses. Best non-con wins UCLA and IN St. Played 7 teams between 170 and 260 RPI.
Wake Forest crowd storms the court after a come from behind win over #18 NC State. Maybe they were just happy to help WSU move up a peg if we take care of business this week?

#18 - North Carolina State lost at Wake Forest
This is good news for the Shockers as Wake forest is not a very good team. Looing forward to seeing the "Court Storm'n" on tonights ESPN highlights.
Just witnessed by first live coverage of another "Court Storm'm" by the students of Villanove. Another big dog is taken down by an average Big East team. All I have to say, "NICE!"
Just watched Not Rated Kentucky lose at Alabama. I am crying. Wow how the mightly have fallen. This loss actually helps us a little. Kentucky<Alabama<VCU<WSU

Wow! That dropped UK's RPI to 60 on RPIForecast. Could they miss the Dance this year? Their best non-con win was their first game of the year over Maryland (66 current RPI). Next best non-con win was Morehead St (171 RPI)
