They're sitting at 64 right now.

Iowa's schedule is set up much, much easier on the back end. WarrenNolan.com projects otherwise, but I'm very confident they will end up in the top 50.

RPIForecast.com has Iowa going 7-6 to finish conference play at 9-9. They indicate Iowa would need to go 9-4 (11-7) in conference to be 45-50 RPI range.

That would be nice, but I'm not sure I'm seeing it happen.

I like Wichita State in that group with Ole Miss second and Oregon third. The Shockers proved that they're just a much better unit with Carl Hall in the mix. He's healthy now, and they outplayed Creighton as a result. This is a strong defensive group (32nd in adjusted defensive efficiency per Ken Pomeroy). And the Shockers have multiple offensive weapons. ... But don't sleep on Ole Miss. Andy Kennedy has a balanced roster that's tough on both ends of the floor, too.

Note: Even though Oklahoma State is not rated in the AP Poll, they are receiving votes in the Coach’s Poll so they are close. But with this loss, couple with the fact that they have lost 4 of the last 6, they should be done now for a while in getting votes.

Fun (or at least interesting) to see us in the polls just behind two team we have beaten, and also behind the other two Kansas schools who are afraid to play us. I came away from Saturday with more respect (not to be confused for affection) for Creighton, because they were all so complimentary of WSU, team, environment, etc., but thinking they are an overrated bunch. Maybe we just made them look that way.
