It looks like Creighton and VCU will probably be our only chances for signature wins this season. Although a win at Tennessee certainly doesn't look bad on anyone's resume. VCU is only 4-3, but they have played a tough schedule so far and I expect there is a very good chance they will be considered a quality win by the end of the season.

RealTimeRPI currently has VCU at #55 but they are projecting them at #35 by end of the season.

They have the Shocks at #25 currently projected to be #14 at year end. Still very early but let's hope they prove to be prescient.

I hven't been able to watch all of the UT game, but I think the Shox can beat them - even on the road. It's hard to get a good feel because of G'Town's zone, which UT absolutely can't handle. UT doesn't look like a great rebounding team, and their shooting appears suspect. I'm gonna move the UT game from an expected loss on the road to winnable. I'm not predicting a W yet, but the game is winnable.

37-36 Georgetown. Most of my HS games I officiate are higher scoring than that. Including the girls games. This was painful to watch.
