This is the time of year when it's not hard to find Shocker teams in action with the overlap of the winter and sprins sports. Today we have:
Shocker Softball in Lincoln: vs #14 Missouri at 11:00 am and at Nebraska at 1:30 pm. The Shocks need to find effective pitching to go along with outstanding freshman Chloe Barber.
Shocker Baseball: Hosting Utah Tech at Noon. Need a bounce back game from starting pitcher Daniel Zang to follow up on Caden Favor's complete game shoutout on Friday. Sounds like it is going to be a very nice weather day for this time of year.
Shocker Men's Tennis: Playing Montana in Denver today at 1:00 pm. The team is off to a roughs start at 2-8. Maybe they can get one in the win column today.
Shocker Women/s Basketball: Hosting senior day activities vs UTSA at 2:00 pm today. 6 seniors on this year's team that, like the Shocker men have struggled in the 1st year of a new coach. Shocks are playing for pride at thsi point as they are locked into a bottom 4 finish in teh AAC.
Shocker Men's Basketball: Final home game and senior day at 6:00 pm tonight vs Rice. Technically, I think the Shocks still have a mathematical chance of avoiding a bottom 4 finish but the have to win this game and their final game at Tulane next Friday and hope a bunch of other games falll their way.
Chances of the Shocks going undefeated today. Probably not great as softball is playing two good opponents and Chloe probably will not pitch today. WBB and MBB are probably 50-50 at best.
