I wasn't big on the Mills hire and am very sour on the Green hire. With that said, Mills took over a complete dumpster fire at ORU after a popular coach got fired. In addition, ORU also changed conferences and went back to the Summit after being in a Southland conference that wrecked the program. He had to start from zero and was in an almost no win situation. Yet he did eventually win, and won big. There is reason for optimism. I see no upside with Green, none. I hope he proves us all wrong.

Stopping woke madness from continuing to sink its claws into our children seems a tad bit more important than making sure a Jayhawk basketball player gets paid off with NIL right before he goes and gets well-off playing in the pros, doesn't it? The Kansas Legislature finally rallied enough votes on Wednesday needed to override Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly’s veto of a bill banning transgender girls and women from girls and women’s sports at public schools and colleges.

Republicans in the Kansas Legislature obtained the necessary two-thirds supermajority needed to overturn Democratic Governor Laura Kelly’s veto of a bill that that requires Kansans to use public restrooms that correspond to their sex.

I say the are busy winning much bigger fights right now with our "moderate" governor.
