Why is this Sampson's final trip to Koch? We have/had home and home series with OU, OSU, KSU, Missouri, Baylor etc, so why wouldn't that at least be a possibility with Houston? Seems kind of odd to be so certain.

Probably the same reason we don't play CU or any MVC teams after leaving the conference.
