For a moment last night, I allowed myself to have some hope. Thinking they were looking pretty good, and maybe the team was starting to gel and show some improvement. Then, of course another meltdown happened. Last time I make that mistake this year. Then I realized who our coach is, and that everyone looks good when you're shooting 50% from three as we did in the first half. Shame on me.

I was not at the game nor was I able to watch the broadcast. I did follow along with Kennedy and Dahl along with the live stats. I thought that in the 2nd half Kennedy and Dahl were a bit less pollyannish and a bit more critical with their comments then they have been previously although I don't listen to them all that much anymore.

So I did see some posters crediting the Shockers good first half to the coach's wearing suits. So assuming that the coaches did not ditch the suits at half time perhaps proves the old admonition that the clothes do not make the man.

No, no, no, no , no....hey look, the guys can't help that the other teams shoot so good against them. We all know WSU is a great defensive team, all the commentators tell us so. And Mark Adams is a basketball genius and he says they're good.
