2021 – Beat (#RV) Tulsa in Wichita 72-53. Morris Udeze and Tyson Etienne scored 20 points apiece as Wichita State topped Tulsa 72-53 on Wednesday night. The 20 points were a career high for Udeze, who was 6-of-7 shooting and added eight rebounds. Ricky Council IV had 11 points for Wichita State (8-3, 4-1 American Athletic Conference), which earned its fourth straight home victory. Alterique Gilbert added eight assists.
2018 – (#5) WSU won at Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma 72-69. In a game reminiscent of many big matchups between former Missouri Valley Conference rivals now reunited, No. 5 Wichita State edged Tulsa 72-69 Saturday before a sellout crowd that was evenly divided between the schools. Landry Shamet and backcourt mate Conner Frankamp each scored 16 points to help the Shockers hold on. Wichita State (15-2, 5-0) remained unbeaten in its first season in the American Athletic Conference. Shamet made the first of two free throws with 8 seconds left for a three-point edge but missed the second. The Shockers then fouled Sterling Taplin. He missed the front end of a one-and-one with 4.9 seconds left, Junior Etou rebounded and passed back to Taplin, whose 3-point try at the buzzer rimmed out.
2016 – Won at Missouri State in Springfield, Ill. 78-62. Markis McDuffie scored 16 points on 8-of-9 shooting and collected nine rebounds as Wichita State broke open a close game and beat Missouri State 78-62 Wednesday night. Wichita State (11-5, 5-0 Missouri Valley) led 37-36 at the half then used a 16-3 run out of the break to go up 53-39 on Rauno Nurger's jumper with 12:38 to play. Conner Frankamp hit consecutive 3s and Evan Wessel buried a 3 to make the score 62-44. Missouri State (6-11, 2-3) sped to a 15-4 lead early when Dequon Miller hit a 3 with 13:58 to play before halftime. The Shockers battled back and Rarshard Kelly's tip-in basket with 28 second before halftime gave Wichita State the lead for good. Frankamp and Ron Baker each had 14 points for the Shockers as they shot 32 for 67 (47.8 percent) from the floor.
2012 – Beat Bradley Wichita 78-41. Garrett Stutz and David Kyles scored 16 points each as Wichita State defeated cold-shooting Bradley 78-41 on Friday night. Stutz added 13 rebounds and Carl Hall 11 points for the Shockers (14-3, 5-1 Missouri Valley), which had an average victory margin of 38 points in two meetings against Bradley this season. Wichita State handed the Braves their worst MVC loss ever with a 90-51 rout on Dec. 28. This contest was almost as ugly for the Braves. Kyles made four 3-pointers for the Shockers, who shot 55.8 percent (29 of 52) from the field and enjoyed a 44-26 rebounding advantage.

Wichita State never trailed, led 41-32 at halftime and by as many as 13 points. The Shockers shot 58 percent for the game, including 66.7 percent in the second half. They were 12 of 22 from 3-point range, led by Murry, who was 3 of 3, and Hannah, who was 4 of 6. Wichita State's start is its best since it also went 16-2 in 2004-05.
