For the day, the Shockers are:
    15 and 19

    Regular Season (Games of Interest
2018 – (#5) WSU won at ECU in Greenville, N.C. 95-60. Markis McDuffie is getting stronger. And that's only going to bolster a Wichita State team already off to a 4-0 start in its new league. The junior had 12 points in the fifth-ranked Shockers' 95-60 win at East Carolina on Thursday night, his third straight double-figure scoring game as he works his way back from a foot injury that sidelined him for the first 11 games. The 6-foot-8 forward made his debut Dec. 22 with 9 minutes against Florida Gulf Coast and has been building up his conditioning since returning from the stress fracture to his left foot suffered in September. He's a vital piece for the Shockers (14-2, 4-0 American Athletic Conference) as a scorer (11.5 points), rebounder (5.7) and defender (42 steals) on the way to being a first-team all-conference pick last season. On Thursday, he made 4 of 7 shots and 4 of 5 free throws with three rebounds, two assists and a steal against the Pirates (7-9, 1-4).

2017 – (#RV) WSU Beat Loyola in Wichita 87-75. Markis McDuffie hit four 3-pointers and scored 26 points to lead Wichita State to an 87-75 win over Loyola-Chicago on Wednesday night. McDuffie finished 8 of 11 overall from the field and hit 6 of 7 free throws. Landry Shamet finished with 11 points while Darral Willis Jr. and Daishon Smith each chipped in 10 for the Shockers (15-3, 5-0 Missouri Valley). Wichita State hit 53.8 percent of its shots and 12 3-pointers.

2015 – (#15) WSU won at Loyola in Chicago, Ill. 67-53. No. 15 Wichita State was facing a tough challenge from Loyola of Chicago, and then the second half started. Tekele Cotton scored all but two of his 16 points and hit four 3-pointers over the final 20 minutes, and the Shockers pulled away for a 67-53 victory over Loyola of Chicago on Sunday. Ron Baker scored 15. Fred VanVleet hit all five of his shots in a 14-point effort and matched a career-high with 10 assists. The Shockers (14-2, 4-0 Missouri Valley Conference) took control in the second half, outscoring the Ramblers (12-4, 2-2) 44-25 after trailing by five at the break to pick up their 22nd straight league win. VanVleet is a combined 11 for 11 from the field and 13 of 14 on free throws with 36 points the past two games at Gentile Arena. He made all six shots and 10 free throws while scoring 22 last year.

2014 – (#6) WSU won at Missouri State in Springfield, Mo. W 72-69 (OT). The No. 6 Shockers needed a huge second-half rally to stay unbeaten. Cleanthony Early had 22 points and 14 rebounds and Wichita State rallied from a 19-point second-half deficit, knocking off Missouri State 72-69 in overtime on Saturday night. "It's the first close game we've had, to be honest," Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall said. "We've had some games where we made some plays down the stretch to win by five or whatever ... but as far as a game really being in doubt, this is by far the toughest game we've had." Fred VanVleet scored 12 of the Shockers' last 13 points, including a game-tying free throw with 8 seconds left in regulation. He put Wichita State up for good with a short jumper with 1:25 left in overtime, and added two free throws with 8.8 conds left in overtime to put the Shockers up 71-68. Early made a free throw with 1.4 seconds left to put the Shockers up 72-69, and stole a Missouri State inbounds pass at half court with 1.1 seconds left to seal the comeback for Wichita State (17-0, 4-0 Missouri Valley).

2006 - Won at Bradley in Peoria, Ill. 86-76. PEORIA, Ill. -- Wichita State junior guard Karon Bradley matched his career high with 19 points off the bench and the Shockers (13-4, 4-2) used a quick start to deal Missouri Valley Conference rival Bradley (8-6, 2-4) its first home loss of the season Wednesday night at Carver Arena. Wichita State became just the eighth team in 66 tries to sweep the Braves and Redbirds in consecutive road games since Illinois State joined the Valley for the 1981-82 season. Wichita State forward PJ Cousinard posted a double-double -- 15 points and 11 rebounds -- and added a team-high six assists. Jared Young chipped in with 12 points off the Shocker bench. The Shockers made sure the Braves did not complete the rally by draining 13-of-15 free throw attempts in the final 1:33.
