Walton got hurt late in the ECU game .. but never came out .. he was visibily limping for a period of time. Guessing that flared up after getting out of game mode.

For the most part. Per usual, nothing much new. IB continues to be about as exciting as watching the street lights come on. I was able to listen and watch the Rose Bowl…multi-task, haha.

I thought he said some things that were right. Now seeing them materialize is something else...

As far as lacking entertainment value, IB right up there with Cohen. Bad coaches, boring personalities, repetitive coach speak. I would include Thompson but he was slightly more interesting.

Summarizing: Basically he indicated he wasn’t 100% for the ECU game but now is and expects him to be 100% for the Cinncy game.

Didn't listen to show, but by the lack of response and chatter about the show tells me how few people listened or care at this point....

I have no idea what IB could even say at this point. He's in a can't win situation. Ironically, the only thing IB can do to get out of this situation is win, and he's shown he literally cannot win.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

IB is a good guy. He just is not a D1 head basketball coach. You have to be truthful and mean. You are as much a trainer as a coach and training is hard. If your feelings get hurt you don’t belong on a basketball court.

IB mentioned he was going to be gone today on a recruiting trip to California, but his connecting flights were being delayed…so he decided to come back to Wichita.

I guess no access to a private jet anymore.

I disagree that he’s not a D-1 coach if you are grading on a curve. He would do well at a low major. There are some really poor coaches out there.

Hopefully he has the NIL collective on speed dial so he can round up the $200k needed

                              The very absurdity.
