Bad end to a great season.

Can't say I will be sad to see Stutz's career come to an end. He plays fine against mediocre competition, but he has always wished he was six inches shorter than he was, and chokes when it counts.

However, once again, the ball should not have been in his hands at the end. Stutz choked many times during that game, but that last shot isn't on him. He should not have even been in that game. Not for the last shot, not for the last ten minutes.

Great rally to almost pull it out, though.

Debatable. Shaka seemed to completely own Gregg for 28 minutes, then Kyles resuscitated us single-handedly.

Love HCGM, but Shaka's out-X&O'd twice now pretty hard.

We knew what they were going to do and we didn't come ready to play in the first half. It's too bad because if we play two halves of basketball and we are moving on. But its March and we played like it was early January. I feel sorry for the guys but you have to execute and we didn't tonight. Good season boys and keep your heads up. We all still loved watching you guys play the game. Thanks for the ride.

Keep your heads up? Really? Why would they keep their heads up when they only showed up for 12 minutes of basketball. They played like sht tonight on the biggest stage of their career. NIT championship? Sure...be proud of it, but you play all season to go the Dance. They were just the first upset of the tournament because they played scared and with their heads up their arses. UFB...

We didn't lose it in the last minute, we lost it in the first half. Looked sluggish and timid. Not how I expected this to end up, but I'm proud of these guys just the same. Still a great year.

You are telling me it takes over 28 minutes to adjust your game to the tempo of the opponent and that isn't coaching?

You're telling me your last shot of the season is a kick into the backcourt with 12 seconds to go and a desperation shot by a 7' all after coming out of time out?

Give me a frickin' break.

I agree. Last 7 minutes of the MVC game and this one, the coach can't shoot the BB.

He can call the play to get them open to shoot the BB. He didn't do a very good job on that last play, imo.

Coaches on this board are marvelous. I'm sure EVERY time you draw up a play in your college coaching careers, it is ran to perfection, and the guy you try to get the ball to is always open, and he always makes it.

The bottom line is we did not play until halfway through the 2nd halfway. It's kind of the same as people on this board were cashing it in also. The game is 40 minutes, and we only played about 10-15 of it. Tough to win like that.
