I know I'm probably over-reacting to a disappointing first half, but I'm feeling like this is going to be a 15-point loss.

Please talk me off the ledge.

If we dont make adjustments, it might be a 20 point loss. We're taking bad shots, forcing bad passes and our SRs are playing scared. Not a recipe for a win right now.

A 13-1 surpass. Shocks can come back but have to hit some shots. It is like we played into their hands, we could not make shots we normally make, and their swarming D. has asphysxiated our offense. We went 5 minutes and did not score at all. Yikes!!! Yes, we can still win but not like this. GO SHOX!!!!!!! WE CAN STILL WIN!!!

VCU is playing THEIR game and dictating the tempo. This is exactly what they have done all year to almost everyone they have played. Not sure how you can say they are GARBAGE.. i do agree that it is garbage that we are letting them do what they are doing....

Their offense is ugly and we're getting all whacked out with their press. We've had presses before. I'm extremely pissed off on how flat we have come out. Do we really wanna go down to this team again.... and make this a one-day trip?

Half Time.......Wow wondering why I spent the cash to make this trip.....Shocks look about as bad as I have seen in awhie. Not sure what you are seeing on TV but live team looks panicked, GM looks panicked and Jake White is trying to make his minutes count I guess. Honest opinion, VCA looks like the better team. If VCU makes some of the ez shots they have missed they will win by 15-17. Shocks look like they have never seen a press before because although VCU is putting on the pressure it's not sufficating. Hall has played great but the refs have let them play under the basket. If shocks slow it down and get good shots they have a chance....BTW VCU looks like a 6/7 seed.....going to get a coke for the second half

The only difference there is we weren't down 9 at the half in that one.

And you're really coming with the ref angle a bit too much. You're bringing that up more than anyone here. There were some bad calls but again as others mentioned the theme has been we suck, not refs suck. Don't worry, we're not bagging on your boys. Chill out.

I dont bring it up until its inevitably brought up by someone else about how they're screwing us over. It happens EVERY SINGLE GAME we play bad. I dont know if its because of Kennedy or what. But I get tired of reading it. Us losing is enough.
