Looks like Ku must have made a run to end the first half. I just checked the score and Ku is leading 34-24 at the half. That is a 11-3 run for ku since the last time I checked with just under 8 minutes left in the half.

Detroit was 6-11 from the FT line. Very athletic, but not much of a half-court offense.

Boy, if Detroit is the best 15 seed in the history of the tournament I'd hate to see how underrated Norfolk State or Lehigh are.

While the Lehigh, Ohio, and Norfolk St are nice, feel good stories for non-BCS fans, the non-BCS teams that have the best chance of going deep into the brackets are having a tough time. Gone are 5 seeds WSU, Temple, 6 seeds SDS, UNLV, and 7 seed St. Mary's while only Murray St., New Mexico, and Gonzaga remain from those seeds. That's losing over 60% of your most favored teams.

Should have been settled in ot, but as a player you have to know the rules. Like if a defensive player tips the ball over half court, and the offensive player grabs it, it's not over and back.

So if the ND kid gets the rebound and a put-back, after breaking the rule, should the ref still have swallow his whistle? Care to ask Xavier that question if it had happened?

Those are obvious violations, not judgement calls, and should be called in the first minute and last minute.

Geez. Nice attitude. WSU is most important in your mind, which, obviously is fine and how its supposed to be, but what did the rest of the teams in the conference (I wont even include CU) ever do to you that you take that attitude? We're stuck in this conference for the forseeable future and yes, we could/can survive with out additional money but its nice were going to get some and some schools do probably need it. You have every right not to root for Creighton going forward, not saying you dont, but this statement just comes off in really bad taste to me. I am (grudgingly) cheering for them only because we get more money.

A unit last year was worth almost $200,000 or so. It is supposed to go up the next couple years, but effectively CU just handed us another $22,000 a year for six years...I dont get how you can root against that.

Cu tried to give the game away after going up 57-50. You got to make your FTs. If they make those then they wouldn't have had to worry about the 3 point shot by Releford. Good win for the Valley!

The drop in Valley money that WSU gets next year won't be quite as bad. But there will still be a big drop unless Cu can get to the championship game which is highly unlikely. So still be prepared for a hike in SASO fees, higher ticket prices and more annoying crowd killing promotions next year. The more Cu wins the less of those 3 things we have to put up with.

We could get $5 million/year for the next 20 and I would bet all of the above things you mentioned would still happen.
