So under this logic theoretically, if we are pretty much an at large lock, we should root against ourselves and all other at large locks in the MVC tournament because it increases our revenue chances therein?

I never said that. Youve pretty much twisted what i said to its nonlogical extreme. What you said was ridiculous. It wasn't like I was rooting for the shockers to lose the mvc tournament so the valley would get three seeds in, if that's what your implying. My only point was that I am cheering for cu to succeed in the now, in this years NCAA tournament only, because it's going to get us more money...now.

You remember in 2006 when the Valley teams' fans would cheer for each other in the NCAAs? When chants of "MVC!! MVC!!" filled arenas around the country? What happened to that?

You know all these threads when some of us (me included) complain about how we never get any respect because our conference gets no respect? If the MVC went 0-2 in the NCAA this year, we continue to get no respect. The better CU does, it gives the conference a little more respect. Next year, if we can get two teams in the Dance again, that's a little more respect. If we make deep runs in the tournament, our conference gets more respect. If some are right that we're stuck in this stupid conference, we should make the best of it.

ISU red held this team to 36 points earlier in the season. I'm happy but I'm pissed. I had Mizzou in the championship game in my bracket!
