Wasn't obvious live, but the replay was pretty clear. They stole one there. Alabama with 3 free throws wins that game.

We don't need the $. Maybe Evansville and Indiana State and Southern Illinois needs the bones. But we don't need it. We can survived without it. ROLL TIDE.

Geez. Nice attitude. WSU is most important in your mind, which, obviously is fine and how its supposed to be, but what did the rest of the teams in the conference (I wont even include CU) ever do to you that you take that attitude? We're stuck in this conference for the forseeable future and yes, we could/can survive with out additional money but its nice were going to get some and some schools do probably need it. You have every right not to root for Creighton going forward, not saying you dont, but this statement just comes off in really bad taste to me. I am (grudgingly) cheering for them only because we get more money.

A unit last year was worth almost $200,000 or so. It is supposed to go up the next couple years, but effectively CU just handed us another $22,000 a year for six years...I dont get how you can root against that.

Cu tried to give the game away after going up 57-50. You got to make your FTs. If they make those then they wouldn't have had to worry about the 3 point shot by Releford. Good win for the Valley!

The drop in Valley money that WSU gets next year won't be quite as bad. But there will still be a big drop unless Cu can get to the championship game which is highly unlikely. So still be prepared for a hike in SASO fees, higher ticket prices and more annoying crowd killing promotions next year. The more Cu wins the less of those 3 things we have to put up with.

I can live without the money and the publicity is so worthless it isn't even funny. Even if CU were to win the national title (I peed myself laughing as I typed that and threw up, sorry for the mess) it would be about CU and not about the Valley.

So I'd much rather see CU lose so we don't have to hear about our one and done business.
