USF 36, CAL 13 HALF At least the committee made the only at large bid for the PAC 12 play in a play-in game. I am really glad the PAC 12 didn't get 3 bids like some were predicting. They really should have been a one bid league.

Redbirds made 9 of 13 from beyond the arc. Glad to see the Valley rep'ing well.

Very nice road win for UNI. Good going Panthers.

Yes, Tuttle looks like he will be a pain in arse for the next three years.

              PAC12?

Cal looks as inept as any team I seen all year.

How the committee determined they were worthy of an at-large bid is beyond comprehension.

It wasn't just a bad half of basketball. They just aren't very good, period.
Above all, make the right call.

Toss another log on the fire. Arizona loses to Bucknell in Tuscon.

Did I hear it right that Illinois State is 9-0 against the SEC?

Pac12 looking like a step below the Sunbelt this year.

During the game they said that Illinois St was 5-0 all time vs the SEC. With tonight's win they would be 6-0 all time.

That kid for Cal was the POY in the PAC 12???

Bucknell b slapped the Wildcats in Tuscon tonight. I wish Tad well, but tonight was not a good omen for a Buffalo victory in the big dance.

That just can't be right! I got it by a good source on the USC fan board that Valley teams can't hang with SEC teams.

Cal looked absolutely terrible in their loss to USF. The final score is not at all indicative of the game. USF was up by 32 points (57-25) with about 9 minutes left in the game. They then just coasted in. Cal did a lot of fouling towards the end to make their final score look a lot more respectable: USF 65, Cal 54.

I the seeding holds up as poorly in the NCAA tourney as it is holding up in the NIT hang on to your hats boys and girls.

In the NIT 7 of the 16 1st round games were one by the lower seeds including
                                #1 Arizona
#2 St. Joe, Ole Miss, Dayton
                                #3 LaSalle,
                                #4 ORU, Miss State

UNI and ILS were both #7 seeds winning on the road.

#1 Seton Hall just barely survived #8 Stony Brook 63-61 at home.
