The funny thing about how the NCAA is so mad at "insert blue blood program" that they're going to take it out on Cleveland State is so accurate it's not funny anymore.

This game isn't even nationally broadcast. That right there, IMO is effing BS. NCAA is not about the game. Its about $$. I have no way to watch it and don't even know if want to even sign up for a free trial tgen cancel.
Screw the NCAA. Screw KU and the cheaters. Thanks for ruining college basketball. My interest continues to wane all around. And the NCAA seems content to continue to segment itself to the power conferences ta boot."When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Better have some sugar and water too, or else your lemonade will suck!

The local news stations here in Wichita have been going KU crazy - you would think nothing else is happening in the news locally on some of the stations. One of them was even talking yesterday about how everyone in Kansas was rooting for KU. Give me a break! That's like saying everyone in North Carolina is rooting for NC to win - I bet Duke fans would disagree, although given the fact it's KU, who knows. Or saying everyone in Oklahoma roots for OU football. One of the stations was saying KU would have won the whole thing in 2020 if not for covid and there not being a tournament - what a crock. If KU wins, the news coverage will be insufferable, and I imagine if they lose, it'll still be headline news and 'wait until next year' baloney.Last edited by Ted Lasso's Neighbor; April 4, 2022, 02:07 PM.Not responsible for damage from posts that sail over the reader's head.

I don't get TBS either and I used the NCAA March Madness app on my smart tv to watch some of the games last week. There's a 3 hour free time limit on it and at some point last week it ran out and wouldn't let me watch any other games. But I found out Saturday I could go to the NCAA March Madness web site and it had a 3 hour time limit as well, so I was able to watch a little of the Duke vs NC game because the time limit started over. The app must have tracked time based on the machine id or something, but it doesn't seem like the browser cares. So that's something you might look into as well."When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Better have some sugar and water too, or else your lemonade will suck!

From a basketball perspective, this will be an interesting matchup.
If UNC gets in foul trouble, they are in BAD shape since they don't have much of a bench. KU isn't stellar at drawing fouls, though, so that may be a non-factor. Odd given they take 66.7% of their shots inside the arc.
UNC doesn't force many turnovers...KU doesn't take care of the ball well.
UNC loves to take threes...KU is okay, but not great, at running shooters off the three point line. UNC's starters have taken a combined 720 (!!!) three-pointers this season, but Leaky Black has only taken 50 of those, which makes me wonder if KU is going to try to hedge off him and no one else, hoping he just hangs out on the perimeter. He has been a decent offensive rebounder during this tournament.
My guess would be that UNC defensively tries to play somewhat of a pack-line, stopping drivers and forcing KU to shoot outside. It's really a wash as far as PPP from each shot type goes, so I would imagine they try to prevent their "Iron Five" from getting in foul trouble. Interested to see if either team goes zone at all tonight. Villanova did it on Saturday and seemed to have some success with it.
Offensively, KU will try to isolate Manek if they can make him defend.
Always tough to tell until you get there, but I think UNC's guards will give Braun/Agbaji/Harris/Martin trouble because of their quickness.
Again, an interesting chess match. I love basketball. I would pick KU to win and UNC to cover (KU -4.5). KU won't shoot like they did against Nova, but I think their depth might wear UNC down."In God we trust, all others must bring data." - W. Edwards Deming
