My two cents…I think the AAC is by far a stronger conference. On the other hand, I watched a lot of both tournaments (AAC and MoValley). I liked the kind of basketball I saw played in the Valley far better than what I saw in the AAC. I also don’t think we have the players to compete in the AAC…we aren’t strong, fast, or smart enough. The MVC is more disciplined in many aspects. And I don’t think we could have beaten Loyola this year…and would have had problems with them the last 4 years. Remember, we got “Draked” last year…and have looked bad ever since. (We looked bad the game before we played them as well). Our Coach, at this time, is not able to coach in this conference. Last year was a complete fluke.People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do. -Isaac Asimov

The coaching staff needed to realize that:
A) This team is really bad at shooting 3s
and
B) This team is pretty darn good at shooting FTs
They should have adjust the offense to driving the basket and living at the FTs line.
Granted, a lot of the players aren’t great at finishing around the basket, but the could have at least try to scheme a game plan to help make them more effective.
That’s one of the major whiffs of this season, IMO.The Assman

And to run that offense you need to get MU out of the paint to
open it up and create better spacing. We ran that spread offense
so well down the stretch against ECU and KP in the corner not
high. Won't work with MU cause opponents would not respect
him as a three point threat. Need good shooting fours and fives
and DD to really work on the 3's also.

DD’s biggest problem is still the biggest problem he had walking in day one; he can’t dribble.
I love the kid and all he has done @ WSU. He’s been nothing but a first class representative of the university, but it seems impossible that you could play basketball everyday for four years and not develop a skill better than that.
If he came back next season and could somehow massively improve on that over the offseason, that would help this team tremendously. The Assman

All kidding aside though, we would expect nothing less than that kind of a response from you. After all, you expect intelligent sports fans to believe that CP running the point was instrumental to this years -ahem- success, but last year's 3rd team point guard had nothing to with theirs. What next? If only Mo could have played with a little more effort this year? Just like CP did. Oh, wait...
Triggered? No, you've got the wrong poster. Entertained would be more precise...
