I feel that Boatwrong may have set the bar for any new HC. Only other way is to have strong incentives starting at lower points (ie a winning conference record and on up).

Going forward, this is not going to be as easy a conference to recruit a quality coach or players to. The AAC is going to be more of a MWC than the AAC we left for.

1, Notify ADDB that his contract will not be renewed. Begin the search for his replacement.
2. Approach Chris Jans see if he would be interested in the job. 5 year contract with a base salary of $750k plus a $50k per year bump. Incentives allowing him to earn an additional $1.25 millon the biggest of which would be $500k for a Final Four appearance plus he would agree to retain Isaac Brown on his staff for 4 years. Set the buyout at the lesser of $1,000,000 or the base pay remaining on his contract.
3. Assuming we have a commitment from CJ approach Isaac Brown about stepping down as Head Coach for the benefit of the University (and perhaps his own benefit). Sign him on as an assistant to Coach Jans at $500k per year for 3 years. HCIB can leave anytime without cost to him or WSU.

l know this is total fantasy but that's all I am left with.

People have lost their minds if they believe Turg is coming back.

It's not as far-fetched as you might think. Turg. loved this program and wanted to come back after he left. He loves Kansas. He'd probably coach us for 1.75M'ish. Don't expect amazing results though. There won't be any Play Angry, and there certainly won't be any ChicKUn Hack beatdowns. But there will be Play Competent.
