Not a huge fan of Robert Montgomery Knight, but sometimes find his perspective interesting, as this morning when Mike Green from 'Mike and Mike' asked him if Michigan Sate's loss last night probably costing them a 1 seed would have a big impact on them in the tournament.
"Absolutely not", he said. He said, basically, the difference between 1 thru 8 seeds are really so small that the team that is hot at that time, that is based on good defense, doesn't turn over the ball, that can handle different defenses and the press, has a "go to guy" and is a good shooting team - the seeds make no difference.
"So many people think the seed is the icing on the cake - I think it is just the box the cake came in". I have to agree.

(And, from another thread topic - I have so much respect for Toure Murray as a player, team-mate, and fine young man - sorry he didn't get to be All Valley or DPOY- I think he deserved both - but, it doesn't diminish in any way either his accomplishments or body of work. It has been a pleasure to watch him and I wish him the best of luck over the coming weeks.)
