As I recall, getting out of the MVC and into AAC was basically to improve our chances for an at large bid to the tourney. We need to see what alignment preserves this. Other teams shuffling around doesn't change the # of bids going out. In fact, it MAY hurt OU and Tx to play somewhere other than big 12.

For those who long for the days in the valley when we could dominate and should get the autobid every year...

...We now have the same opportunity in the watered-down AAC.

We're going back to the "but who have you played" criticism, but it seems WSU did better with that criticism than when WSU played better competition in the AAC.

Playing Memphis at least twice could give some credibility. If a F4 can happen out of the MVC (twice in less than a decade), it can certainly happen out of a watered-down AAC.
