Tulsa, looks like the best bet for the first AAC win. Before Tulsa, Temple is really athletic and SMU will not be any fun.
Besides, even if WSU hangs close to Temple and/or SMU, TE is going to take 5-6 contested shots with three guys draped all over him during crunch time. We all know how the movie ends.
Meanwhile in Las Cruces, Teddy Allen scored 41 and NMSU won their 11th in a row and 15th of the season Saturday night.

      That is all.
Above all, make the right call.

Well, having a 5th year, 6th year or is it 7th year senior of Teddy's basketball abilities in the WAC doesn't hurt. And you do know how much I like Jans.

          Talk,
Agreed, The WAC stinks, even with he addition of the Texas schools. But Teddy has not been any trouble since CJ took him in. I think that says a lot right there.
Maybe Teddy has finally grown up, but my understanding is he has not been any trouble since arriving in Las Cruces.
Is it the leadership of CJ?
Has Teddy finally laid off the wacky more?
          Teddy has matured some?
Is it all of the above?

I don't know, I'm 2K miles from Las Cruces. But something right is going on there.

          That is all.

              Week 14 Thoughts
If "Selection Sunday" occurred today (02/07/22), I would predict Wichita State would be in the NIT at the 5/6-seed range. The Shockers will have an opportunity to improve their NIT seeding, but that will be the case with every game for the next couple of weeks.

              WSU Ranking History
              Week 4 - NET = #NA, RPI = #26
              Week 5 - NET = #66, RPI = #52
              Week 6 - NET = #59, RPI = #39
              Week 7 - NET = #74, RPI = #67
              Week 8 - NET = #65, RPI = #80
              Week 9 - NET = #77, RPI = #103
              Week 10 - NET = #71, RPI = #87
              Week 11 - NET = #93, RPI = #117
              Week 12 - NET = #82, RPI = #106
              Week 13 - NET = #82, RPI = #108
              Week 14 - NET = #71, RPI = #90

              WSU Post-Season Projection
              Week 4 - NCAA 12-seed
              Week 5 - NCAA 11-seed
              Week 6 - NIT 2/3-seed
              Week 7 - NIT 5/6-seed
              Week 8 - NIT 3/4-seed
              Week 10 - NIT 5/6-seed
              Week 11 - CBI 4-seed (Last Team-In)
              Week 12 - NIT 6-seed (Last Team-In)
              Week 13 - NIT 6-seed (Last Team-In)
              Week 14 - NIT 5/6-seed

              Other AAC Teams
              Houston - NCAA 2/3-seed
              Memphis – NIT 2/3-seed
              SMU – NIT 3/4-seed
              Cincinnati – NIT 5/6-seed
              UCF – CBI 2/3-seed

NET and Next 5 WSU Opponents
              #94 at UCF – Feb 8 (Tue)
#240 vs South Florida – Feb 12 (Sat)
              #72 at Cincinnati – Feb 17 (Thu)

The post by WuShock Reaper led me to look at the NIT selection committee principles. Interesting.

Also reminds me of dreading Selection Sunday in 2016. I'm not sure I would have felt like attending an NIT game in Ron and Fred's senior year. It would have been so weird.
