Seeing teams release their full non-conference schedules has me itching for any scheduling news. Anyone got anything!?

That's a painful home schedule so far.

Opening night is November 9th. Looks like we could have 2 or maybe 3 more games to announce.

Last years NET rankings so far (and would be Quandrants).

                  Tarelton State - 253 (Q4)
                  Arizona - 32 (Q1)
                  Michigan - 3 (Q1)
                  UNLV - 189 (Q3)
                  Missouri - 46 (Q1)
                  OSU - 28 (Q1)
                  KSU - 176 (Q4)
                  Norfolk State - 183 (Q4)
                  Alcorn St - 329 (Q4)
                  North Texas - 55 (Q2)
                  Prairie View - 197 (Q4)

                  So would be
                  4 Q1
                  1 Q2
                  1 Q3
                  4 Q4

Not horrible I guess as long as the last 2-3 aren't Q4 also. I think we might still be in line for SEC/AAC challenge if they are still having that.

Interesting that the buy games seem to be more back loaded this year than normal.

Our MTE is a week earlier than most years which would normally fit probably 2 more games in before that.

Unfortunately, North Texas and Arizona are looking like they will probably be at least a Quadrant worse this year. We really need that Q1 game against Michigan. Four straight Q3/4 games heading into conference play isn’t ideal, but if we suffer a couple early losses it might allow for some ‘get right’ time.

Also, Taylor mentioned in an interview that he would assume the last couple games would be buy games. Goodness, I hope not.

The flip side is if we can beat those Q4 teams by 40 ... our NET rankings should be nice and sparkly.

Hopefully the conference steps up a notch this year too.

That was my next thought: We should have Q1/2 road games at Memphis, Houston, SMU, and maybe UCF. Plus solid home games.

A second challenge? Because it feels like we’re knee deep in an AAC /SWAC challenge already.
