The double standard is apalling/
WSU's "good" wins aren't good enough.
When Indiana is at 500, and so is Minnesota, they can lose to someone like Northwestern at 6-13, and that is NOT a bad loss.
It is all set up for the Power conferences to hog most of the spots.
Many years, these power conferences get 8 teams in and after the first weekend only have 2 or 3 left.
Even Pie is startting to wake up to this obvious set-up.
I've said it before and I will say it again, we don't get no respect.
Rodney Dangerfield was lucky compared to us.
No matter what we do, it just isn't quite good enough in comparison to the big schools.
Never mind our track record for the last decade, we just don't measure up.
Pie said there is no "national conspirancy. To quote Uncle Joe, "C'mon man."
The Power conferences control the NCAA, always have.
When it looked like they were starting to lose control, they threatened to leave and form their own group.
Well, that scared the bejesus out of the NCAA, so it is back to business as normal again.
Same thing happens with violations.
Anybody care to bet that nothing big happens to KU or Arizona?
If WSU was ON TAPE taling about "I paid good money for that kid, $100,000, where is he?"
We would get the death sentence.
Nothing will happen to KU or Arizona, or only a slap on the wrist for major violations way beyone anything WSU has ever done.
The same applies to the torunament. The Indianas, Marylands, Kentuckys, Rutgers, Penn States, who clearly do NOT deserve to be in will get in.
If WSU gets in, it will be by the skin of our teeth.
I just get tired of something so obviously fixed in the big school's favor.
But now all of you can explain to me that I am just an unwitting troglodyte.
Have at it.
