There are people out there who aren’t Marshall fans and would love nothing more than to bring him down.

Probably the kind of people invovled in this.

I remember Fred getting calling out Shaq for missing some fitness/discipline time running steps. Fred made it very early but not Shaq. Maybe Fred got frustrated.

Maybe Fred should be investigated too for being such a meanie head. There must be a good reason why Fred is about to make eight digits in The Association and Shaq isn’t. It couldn’t have been because one was other-worldly competitive and dedicated to his craft and the other was lazy.

its interesting how the narrative has focused on shaq and fred when we have no flipping clue if anything substantial is going to be released.

It's focused on Shaq due to his cryptic tweet last month about his story being heard.

Shaq's tweet is what drew the attention.

When Shaq was here he was a good 'kid'. Nothing wrong with that, but as our esteemed highbrow Shockernetter bobb has interjected a time or two, he was not quite "serious" enough to see his true potential through, and thus, that of the team. Coaching up teens is probably a difficult job.

This is just a mere tempest in a teapot. If that. Move on...

Perhaps he’s just referring to his basketball story and that he has not yet fulfilled his potential. He had plenty of opportunity to bag on HCGM during the ES tantrum.

You may be right. OTOH, he may have received extra encouragement from ES and Dad, after telling them a story from his POV privately. I don't think Shaq's a bad guy. He has a lot of good qualities. In the past, he didn't take care of his business without extensive encouragement. Maybe that's all changed and he's a very responsible young man who has grown up and sees where has made mistakes. We shall see.

Sure hope so. Would be very disappointing at this stage of his life to hold grudges.
