That was my thought as well. I couldn't really think of any standout 6th man in the league. I think McCadden on Memphis has been their first guy off the bench all year but could be wrong. A team usually has to be pretty good to keep a strong contributor out of the starting lineup.

The AAC 6th Man of the Year, Reggie Chaney of Houston, averaged 2.9 points and 2.6 rebounds. I know he plays hard but come on.

The Houston bias was real on these awards. DPOY is Shead ? That one doesn't make sense. FOY.. Hendricks from UCF won Freshman of the week a record 9 times and led the freshman in most every category.... But it went to Walker from Houston. Don't get me wrong. He's good. But Hendricks earned it more.

Porter has a little bit of that FVV in him. I wouldn't say on paper he would be an NBA prospect, but that intangible stuff can put you over the edge. Just sayin...it would not surprise me one bit if he made it.

1. For his sake (if that is his goal), I certainly hope Porter Plays in the NBA.

2. The more Shockers playing in the NBA certainly can't hurt our recruiting.
