Word was they don't think its broken and just turned it. I was playing a pick up game of basketball and drove for a lay up and came don on another guys foot and rolled my ankle. Went to the hospital and the Doc said the damage was worse than if I had broken it. Hope thats not the case for KP going forward. Go Shocks

Yep, I rolled mine bad coming down on a rebound. Went to the locker room, doctor following, who then put a bag of ice on it and said wait for 5-10 minutes and I'll tell you if you broke anything. After 6-7 minutes he took a look and replied it wasn't broken. It was already badly swollen and getting black and blue. I said how can you tell by just looking. He replied that if it swells that bad so quick it's a bad sprain but looking at yours you are going to wish it WAS broken as bad sprains can take much longer to heal. Now, that was back in the late 60's and they have tech to help you heal faster now days but it took nearly a 9-10 months before I felt like it was even at 90%

One time I had a bruise on my pecker about the size of an apple.

For me it was flipped. The bruise on the apple was the size of my pecker.

                  That wasn't a bruise.

Lol - You must've seen the same doctor I eventually went to see a couple weeks after the rolling of the ankle carnage. I remember Gaylon Nickerson telling me..."Don't take your shoe off man." Oh man that was painful. If memory serves that doctor was at Wesley or that clinic next door. Anyways.. yep took almost a full year a and a half to feel about 90% normal. Glad I was young back in those days.

Yes, Skip was solid and played some short stints in the NBA. A dream of mine would have been for Robert George and Gaylon Nickerson to be in our Shocker backcourt together. The timing was slightly off for that to happen.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
