Talked with Wichita State transfer Erik Stevenson this evening, he told @Stockrisers: Seton Hall, Xavier, Arkansas, Washington, Oregon State, Gonzaga, Texas, USC, Creighton, Utah, and many others have reached out.

Two years of eligibility remaining.

I was sitting close enough to know that's a spin. "Explain" looked a whole hell of a lot like (and sounded a hell of a lot like) an ass chewing to me.

I'm open to the idea of being wrong, however. But... man. It was cringe from not too far away. Marshall's face turned that color they'll probably name a Crayola after and it was loud enough to make out some words.

I also watched it on tv several times. Marshall’s face is always that color and ready to explode. But JE came off the court upset and protesting being taken out, and GM was trying to explain something to him. Another coach later was also trying. A minute or so later, Marshall eas pleading with the referee who was close to him, and he called traveling on Sherfield (who didn’t travel at all but less than a minute was remaining. Marshall pointed to JE to go back in and later was taken out for his curtain call. That’s how I saw it after re-watching it a couple of times.

ES and coach didn’t get along...not a shock. Guess this result is best for both parties. You would think players know what they’re getting with 3G...it’s tough love, sometimes he’s going to be an @ss but at the end of the day he cares about you.

Whatever team ES signs with I think they will be a serious dance contender. Sure hope we never have to play
against him. He was a competitor. Same goes for JB. Good luck to both unless we have to play them.

I’m sure a guy who had problems seeing the court for the last 1/2 of the season because his play was putrid is going to change someone from non-contender to contender.

It’s classic helicopter parenting. I’m sure when he is making $85k playing professionally in a country that ends in “stan” we’ll all look back at this and laugh.

Sag of him 5 ft behind the 3-pt line and watch him shoot 10 times? Sounds easy to defend. If he's on that night, then kudos to him.

JB, I love the guy, but force him to be explosive around the basket and you limit him pretty well. If he keeps improving his shot though, he can probably start finishing better like FVV.

Neither will (likely) be superstars elsewhere
