How many of those 14 were clean blocks?
I'm also intrigued to see what Cotton can do in a game like we'll have on Sunday, but ultimately if he's not playing, there's a reason for it--something the coaches see (or don't see). I think we'll see more and more of him as the season progresses though.

Please say it's not true. Beyond embarassing.

We all knew Alabama was a really good team, and a loss is a loss, but hopefully this will be a learning experience for Stutz.
Stutz is a Sr....learning time is over! Time to start playing

No! A bad loss is a home loss to loss to SIU or a blowout loss to Evansville on the road. The Shocks must win either the regular season or valley tourney as well as 2 in the Puerto Rico and the bracketbuster to pass the post season eye test entrance exam to Dance.

            Go Shocks!!!!

I agree, I guess I'm just trying my best to make a 'glass is half full' spin on his situation tonight. If he doesn't find a way to make himself a factor in most games this year, he'll be wasting what is obviously his last chance, and also a real waste of potential.

I tend to think he will come through when it comes down to it down the stretch.

Step #1 is not getting in foul trouble and staying on the floor. I will say that the one block call was complete BS. Probably a charge but at least a no call.

I agree ...half full or half empty he needs to fill that glass up!

                        • as for the game, Murry needs to start imediately, we cant afford to have Kyles and DWill be no shows for us to have a chance against teams like bama. I do think with our experienced team, our team will learn and we will be better for it down the road

                            • Nothing screams mid major like chanting NIT for your own team. Let's please try to pretend that the chant never happened and move on to beating the likes of Temple, Tulsa, UNLV and Utah State before moving on to our crap conference schedule.

                              • Mitchell was an animal. Other than Hall, WSU didn't have anyone close to matching up with that guy.

Not sure what planet Kyles was on tonight, but it wasn't Earth. He just wasn't there and not a clue as to the problem.

Carl Hall = Gabe Blair. Rebounding tigers.

Since the NIT, Murry has been a different player. Just a stud tonight and looks like more to come. Now, if he can wake Kyles up...

And before the rants start, yes, it was a really bad block call on Stutz.
I have no idea what the official saw that influenced his call, but from 2000 miles away and sitting directly in front of my 55" screen, Stutz had a perfect legal guarding position.

Temple now becomes a must win 3 games into the season.
Above all, make the right call.
