    Presumptive and highly debatable.

When the Chickens faced that Saluki Strategy in it's heydey in the semis of the Midwest region in '07 they were fortunate to advance to the finals. No?

I believe that Chicken squad had several future nba'ers; j. wright, chalmers, rush, d. arthur and mr. romeo himself s. collins (excluded r. robinson and s. kaun). The Mountaineers don't have the guards those S. Illinois teams had and that's not debatable.

The Chickens are fortunate the WVU game was at their gym.

          • OSU just doesn't have any fans left. Sad. Like 2k scattered around their arena as they host the #17 ranked conference opponent.

Beat me to it. It's really pathetic for a historically good fanbase.

              • it's to be expected. nobody wants to watch a team that struggles with simple layups.. which describes most of college basketball.

                  • Well our 1 non con Q1 win might not end up being Q1.

Though VCU is sneaking into Q1 territory

That is a leap of faith to assume you will automatically find a a friendly environment under a skirt.

                        • The thing I notice about the OSU and WVU game was those bookend forwards that Huggins has for WVU. Man they are tough, physical, and score through contact. Those two bookend forwards play big boy basketball every night. I can now see why Huggins wanted to add Josaphat Bilaui to that combination.

Josaphat Bilaui has all the physical qualities of those two forwards (6-10 240) and may be a better shooter and seems to handle the ball better. What he doesn't have is there skills of experience and basketball IQ. But he will one day. Go shocks.

The Shockers weren't ready for that type of low-block assault. That doesn't mean they aren't now.

As far as WVU's big men, they're not that far ahead of him (Bilaut) really. One's a freshman and the other a sophomore. But, I'm a Josaphat fan too... He'll probably be the post of the future for WSU.

                            • Temple is not rebounding at all well against Houston. UH has 5-6 offensive boards in the last 3 minutes.
One quick note before we present the rankings: With Wichita State’s move to the American Athletic Conference, the Shockers have moved out of the mid-major club. We wish the Shockers well against Cincinnati, UConn, SMU, and more.

                              • Houston on a 16-3 run. Temple looking like a HS team at home.
