But you are right about the outcome.
These Aggies would not have been any fun for the quarantined yellow and black to deal with.
Especially in the paint. It would have been UGLY.

I’ve been told we have been pretty good guards.

Have we heard anything official on if our games next week are cancelled?

                I haven’t.

Supposedly with the new CDC guidance coming in, the quarantine period has been shortened to 7 days provided there is negative tests. So I guess it improved slightly on still having them.

Assuming our opponents are open to playing. Not sure what our contracts provide for in that regard.

Won't the problem be that the State guidance take priority over the CDC for the state - which is 14 days quarantine.

Doesn't the state guidance typically come from the CDC?

Absolutely. Safely in right now with 2 quality losses to tourney teams. 4 more remaining against USU, Green Bay, Richmond and Wisky...just win 3 of those 4 (maybe even just 2) then 14-4 maybe 13-5 in conference and they're a lock.

For the most part yes,, but states are all over the place on what they do and don’t adopt as guidance. To see that u just have to watch how different placed are handling the basketball exposures. Kansas is still 14 days.

And within those states individual organizations can adopt stricter rules than the state implements and some will do that depending ont their level of aversion to litigation.

                              Stupidity.

Masks work, plain and simple. Now, just because you have a mask does not mean it will prevent you from getting covid, just like we accept that contraceptives, when used correctly, are an effective birth control measure.

When using personal protective equipment (PPE), you gotta use it correctly. How many of you have seen people with masks hanging below their noses? Or using the wrong type of mask. A piece of cloth is helpful, but not as effective as N-95 for pretty obvious reasons. Think of a cloth mask to an n-95 mask love as to a wooden shield vs an iron shield. An N-95 is more effective but also more cumbersome.

This problem is compounded by poor leadership, lack of PPE training and knowledge, fake news bs, and small gatherings where people are become complacent. The scary thing is even really smart people are falling prey to "the Emperor's New Clothes" scenario, going along with what everybody else is saying.

Masks help, anybody that says they don't or indicates they are not effective are a major part of the problem and doing a great disservice to yourself and the planet. Somebody will read this false statements and repeat it, and the next person will think masks aren't really effective.

A non mask believer or mask minimalist or mask non-conformist probably infected the team.

Another fact: each time you interact with another person(s), your own safety level is reduced towards that person's safety level. It's called finding equilibrium in a closed system.

Think of that bar hopping clubber, going out during the pandemic to party. I'm guessing you won't have 'em over for dinner at your house? And if you did, would you have them wear a mask?

And if they did have covid, would you prefer they wore a mask in your presence, a cloth one at the very least? What if they sneezed, would a cloth mask help suppress some of that spray? Asking for a friend.

You are wrong. This virus is like a flu and in 15 days it will disappear like a miracle. The left wing media is just trying to scare you. .
