  • What message are we sending to possible recuits

Our recent embarrassing TV performances can not help our recruiting efforts, I see why it is so hard to become a top performing team and stay there.

That the door is wide open for playing time from day one.

      That’s a thing.

Just last week we had this gem

That looks like fun to be around. So it's not all doom and gloom no matter how hard you are personally trying to make it

The knob posting this is probably a drunk KWho fan blowing off some steam after their latest loss.

Not to worry. Don’t panic. We all knew this would be a season of ups and downs. We’re experiencing more downs now but it’s conference season and we have a ton of you and no senior court leadership so it’s bound to happen. Recruits are smart. They understand the process. They aren’t going to panic.

One season doesn’t define a program.

              Case closed.

Shamet and VanVleet are sending a pretty good message. Couple that message with what recruits can see on TV (LOTS of minutes available) and the recruiting grounds for guards should be fairly fertile.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Totally agree with you. Ignore B1. This clown didn't start posting until the chickenhawks lost to that other blueblood program that cheats like them. He is not a shocker fan no matter how he tries to pretend he is concerned about WSU recruiting. We have dealt with his kind before and we can always identify them.

He is really mad because the NCAA will not allow that player who's family took money underneath the table to play this year. Oh wait the lawyer for the chickenhawk player was quoted last week demanding that the NCAA imeadiately reinstate the player. LMAO like that strategy is going to work. Keep grinding shocks.

I have no idea what goes thru the mind of individual 18 year olds when contacted by WSU recruiters, or any other school. I think ( hope) Aargh is right in most cases but I’m sure these kids have different thought processes and listen to different types of people when making their decision. A lot of top fifty programs have rosters that are hard to crack...but still bring in quality recruits....perhaps those that believe they can play anywhere are the kind we need, not those looking for a weak roster......

Here is what you look for if you are a recruit that is level headed (along with parents):

                        1. Chance for immediate playing time-check
                        2. Development as a player & person over career-check
                        3. Dedicated fan base and community support-check
                        4. Opportunity to play on national stage-check
                        5. State of the art facilities-Check but needs upgrade
                        6. Steady State of Success-Check
                        7. Minimal number of moronic message board doomsday seekers whose nonsensical program long term predictions are floated carelessly like the fibrous turds that they are.

Six out of seven ain’t bad.

There are many examples like this, ABC, but thanks for bringing this one to light. There are only a few teams that can sustain success without at least one real clunker of a year thrown in...and most of them cheat.

Not taking sides, but I find the callouts by 3 posters to the poster starting the thread interesting.

Poster being called out joined July 2005 and has 210 posts, several recently.

1st poster calling out joined April 2014 and posts all the time. Some posters do, some don't.

2nd poster calling out also joined in July 2005 and has 34 posts, several recently.

3rd poster calling out joined September 2018 and has 103 posts and posts like he's been here forever as he definitely knows the lay of land.

As to what was posted, most of the game thread posts and other topics seem to concur that the team is playing poorly on national TV in the last couple of games. True or False?

He also makes the comment that for schools not named Duke, UNC, or Kentucky and the likes, he is seeing why it's hard to become top performing and stay there. True or False?
