  • We may be forced to watch an NBA All-Star game. That hasn't happened since X-Man was in the league.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

            • Fred put on a show last night. I found myself rooting for my Blazers but cheering every amazing play FVV executed. Definitely outplayed Dame.

              • Which one of our Freshmen said that Damian Lillard was his favorite? I think it may have been Tyson E. Fred taught Lillard a few lessons. :)

                  • He played the kind of tenacious D that locked down Curry in the playoffs last year.

Lillard wears the number zero on his jersey, representing the number of times he kept Fred in front of him.

I hope our young Shocker players, especially the guards but all could benefit, watch how Fred plays the game of basketball. He simply does not allow himself to get sped up very often. He controls the tempo he wants to play at and his ability to think the game is as good as I have ever seen.

Unfortunately, that level of BBIQ may be something you either have or don't have. It can be developed to some degree with experience.

                        • That highlight video is something else! The announcer summed it up perfectly "that was a high basketball IQ move right there...". Fred might not be the tallest or biggest guy, but nobody will out work him, out smart him, or out tough him.

                          • I like Siakam's game. And he gets full credit for developing it and being very good.

But Fred has helped make him a LOT of money.

                            • What was evident at the game last night was Fred's incredible court vision; being able to penetrate just far enough to hit an open man. My Son-in-law, who went to the game with me, said at half that FVV should've had double digit assists but teammates were missing shots he fed them.

                              • I did not notice when I first watched the video but Portland jumped out to a 14-2 lead in this game with Fred scoring the only 2 points for the Raptors and drive to the basket until he hit a 3 pointer to make it 14-5 at about the 7:20 mark of the 1st quarter.
