With Kyle Lowry out, Fred played a team high 38 minutes in a two point win against the heat last night. In strange stat news, Hassan Whiteside played 31 minutes for the heat, had a +22, and the Heat lost by 2. Dwyane Wade played 24 minutes and had a -28. Woof.

The Raptors getting pummeled by the Spurs in the first half.

But it is the NBA so this may not mean anything.

VanVleet scored 21 points (6-12 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT) while adding eight assists, five rebounds and a block in 35 minutes during Saturday's 123-116 win over the Bucks.

He tied his season highs in scoring and made-three-pointers as the 24-year-old point guard continues to take advantage of Kyle Lowry's absence due to back trouble. VanVleet is averaging 13.6 points, 4.6 assists, 3.4 boards and 2.4 three-pointers over his last 10 games,

This was a HUGE 7 point win for the Raptors. The Bucks were leading the NBA in home record and overall % and on a 9-1 run over their last 10 games.

The Raptors, on the other side, had been floundering at 8-8 over the last 16 games having numerous injuries to deal with. Lowry and Valanciunas still out.

The Raptors starting 5 in this game step up big, all playing 35-40 minutes, with little support from the bench.

                  Fred did his part with a line of 6-12 FG, 5-8 3pt, 4-4 FT, 5 rebounds, 8 assists, 0 TO, 1 block, 21 points, and a +17.

Edit: Beat me to a lot of the particulars, 1972Shocker.

In the Raptors last 10 games, FVV played in the last nine. 43 assists, 8 turnovers and seven steals. In his 10th game he had 8 assists, but 4 turnovers and no steals.

Reports that Jimmy Butler is unhappy with his role in Philly. Would like to see him dealt so my #23 Landry Shamet jersey is accurate again.

Another big win for the Raptors as the Pacers are right on their heels. Lowry was back, but Leonard took the night off. FVV lead the team in minutes and the bench was very effective last night.
