  • Jimmy Whitt just entered the grad transfer market. Big blow to SMU.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Indeed. No doubt mostly because SMU doesn't offer the graduate progream that Jimmy is interested in.

Makes sense. Can't blame the kid, really.

Whitt will be pursuing a Master's in "Get the Hell Out Of Dallas", which is not offered at SMU.

    • I can think of worse places to not work on a graduate degree. It’s the trifecta of Universities. Metro area very pretty coeds and rich daddies.

What's the difference between a cactus and a Mercedes on the SMU campus?

The pricks are on the outside of the cactus.

Jarron Cumberland to returning to Cincinnati next season, per his Twitter page. HUGE news for the Bearcats.

        • Cool graphic. Looks like our transfers out are pretty average.

Also of note, bradley is way higher on the number of transfers and way lower on program strength. Yup we are definitely a dumpster fire.

Yeah, and it's nice to be on that side of the program strength line.

Look how high Bradley is! Must be something amiss in Peoria!

        • Well there is a very old saying “But will it play in Peoria”. Apparently it’s not as far as basketball

                • Looks like Rod Brown to Pearl River JUCO for a year. Hopefully he can have a breakout and get back with a high level D1 school. Best of luck to him.

Cincinnati will now have two Cumberland’s. Just landed Oakland grad transfer Jaevin Cumberland - Jarron’s cousin. 6-3, 185, SG, Stats: 17.2 ppg, 3.5 apg, 40% 3-pointers Scout’s take: “Big time shooter with deep range. Most effective as a catch and shoot guy. Hunts 3's.”

Great for Eric. Just how often do you see a roll player for a team in a middle range conference get to transfer to a P-5 school?

                        Good for him...

I’ll admit when I saw the jersey in the thumbnail I assumed it was some D2 school that also goes by Pitt.
