      Seeing behind oneself is a very useful skill for basketball players, KV -- just think how many steals and deflections from the rear could be averted if everyone could do that.

        Come on... the only way you are guarding that play is to prevent the pass (which the little white kid attempted at half-court) otherwise it's a foul (which AM likely committed at the rim).

        I suppose somebody could have tried to take the charge. But do you really wanna be "that" guy on that play? You'd likely be eating a nutsack sandwich. I'll take the line drills thank you very much.

        That's what he should have done. I like Asbjorn's potential, but if he's going to own the paint he needs a lot more nasty in his game.

      I was looking more at the guard that lost him at half court.

        God I hope that isn't Erik Stevenson (it likely is) - not because I think he could have kept up with DnD (few on earth could), but I just know how competitive he is. He won't be happy with himself upon review of that play.

        Think it was Brycen up top. Looks like maybe Stevenson is side-stepping on the top side of the lane. McDuffie (1) and Burton (2) are DD's teammates watching. Can't identify the fourth team member.

      Pause the video just at the right moment and you'll see that his head is at the rim, the BALL is at the top of the box; and AM's not exactly standing flat footed. Pretty impressive.

              Fair point, SB -- but that doesn't diminish the dithering and overanalysis and speculation; it just means it's now preseason excess rather than offseason excess. And in another month and a half, it'll be preseason practice excess.
