If Shamet stays, he can improve his college game. I am not sure that would improve his draft position, though. Those guys prefer to draft underclassmen.

We've seen Landry get hurt in each of our last two games. Thankfully not bad, but still enough where he was limping fairly badly and had to sit out. Certainly something he has to consider, especially based on his previous foot injuries.

I think Landry will be back. Would be very surprised if he isn’t. His foot problems are a thing of the past. Another year of getting stronger and leading the best recruiting class of Marshall’s career and increasing his legacy is the thing to do. They’ll be more money for him after next year. Didn’t hurt Graham to stick around.

Greg Carney never met a shot he didn't like, which explains his high standing, but it's still noteworthy that he just missed the top 10 while playing only 77 games. Of course, Stallworth's standing in just 80 games while not gunning in the Carney style explains why he has a statue outside the arena.

Ernie Moore is just above Tekele Cotton in points but in his day he was a great point guard. It was a different game then. Had he been able to play in the '64 tournament Wichita probably would have defeated KSU in the regional final and had the potential for realistic run for the national championship unlike the '65 Final Four team which had no size or depth.

We've veered far afield from McDuffie, but good point about Ernie Moore, Crestway. He was indeed a great player in the game of his time, and '64 really was WSU's year to win if he had been available. Of course, UCLA had no size to speak of in 1965 either, and they did okay -- but it sure would have been nice if one of those WSU teams had been able to play at full strength.

I read a lot of,positive and alot of negative about MM on this and, other boards.
Bottom line is he is off to an amazing start and doing it basically alone. Keep an eye on the rest of this year. May see some all American numbers. ( his assist numbers are way off watch film don't know who keeps these stats). Passing all-time shocker point leaders with each game.
Any game he can put up 20 to 25 we will win. This will be difficult but he is the focus game plan for every other team the rest of the year. If one or two others can capitalize on that we may come out okay.
Think he was what everyone hoped for finally, Last year was rough for him, don't think he fully, recoverd from his injury until after the season. But he is,here now. He has slowly been moving up the 2019 draft boards and I don't see anything that will push him backwards. Outside of a few hand full of first rounders NBA looks for potential and he is no where near his ceiling.
Goodluck the rest of the year Mm. Rooting for you!!$

First of let me confess - I LOVE McDuffie.
But if McDuffie would start embracing the contact instead of trying to acrobat around the contact he would get to the line 7 - 8+ times per game.
Don't be an acrobat....take it strong......take it right into their m.f. chest!!! Then those 18 points per would turn into 22 or 23 points per. FG% would go up to.
