Scott Sutton did wonders for Adam, maybe he'll do the same for Toure next year.

        /totally kidding.

          Indeed

          Wow indeed, Doc.

This is surely the silliest non-DOFO thread in recent memory. TD, what are you thinking (if anything)? Get that prescription refilled fast.

The intent is correct; the comparison was a fail.

Toure is going to be back and have a bigger season than ever next year.

I hope a couple of our Shockernet posters aren't.

Yeah, especially the ignorant, wouldn't-see-it-if-it-hit-them-in-their-faces ones.

Look, I know he struggled mightily at times down the stretch this season but holy cow....give me all the Toure' Murrys you want and I'll beat your butt more often you can return the favor.

That's all well and good but what happened to him down the stretch? Something seems very wrong...almost reminds me of Ogirri's last season here.

A team with 5 Toure' Murrys would score 5 points.

If it's the Toure' Murry's of the last few games, Doc's team wouldn't stand a chance. Hopefully his offensive confidence will be back by next year.

At this point, I'm afraid I would have to agree with you. Maybe it was asking too much for him to switch positions and then switch back. He never got comfortable at point and then when Joe took over, Toure' just couldn't readjust. Hopefully next year, when he will be at his true position, things will start to gel for him again.

I've not met him personally, but I understand he is a great kid. As hard as this year must have been for him to live through, it's also been really hard, as a fan, to watch the look on his face when he is playing. There are times he just looks like "What has happened to me?" You KNOW he wants to do his best, but it just isn't coming. One thing I know though is that he doesn't quit and I don't think the fans should quit on him either.

I understand and don't necessarily disagree, on the offensive end. Toure' continued, even during the down days, to be a strength on the defensive end.

I know he struggled and we NEEDED him offensively (as opposed to Hatch who most of us counted on very little offensively) but his all around game, I would argue, was still pretty darned good. We just counted on him being better on offense...some place he struggled mightily I grant you at times down the stretch. The hows and whys elude me as well.
