LOL.. and to top it off.. Durley didn't even touch Mallet with 2 minutes left. Another bad whistle.

They may have barely brushed jerseys, but the ref making the call had Durley between him and Mallett, so he didn't appear to be in the best of position to make the call accurately.

Which is exactly why the whistle should have never been blown. Too many times you have soft referees calling fouls based on "assumptions". I'm tired of it. Especially considering those blown calls can directly affect the outcomes of basketball games.

BTW Fever, you are right about half of msu fans being meth head hillbillies. I swear the guy behind me and his 14 year old boy, had a total of 8 teeth combined from both of them

My satisfaction will come when that punk team goes down in the Tournament final and gets snubbed by the committee once again. Weems, Creekmore, and the little Nazi dude are all punks in my book. If their antics don't serve as some sort of motivation for our guys, i don't know what in the world will. Go Shocks!!

That "Wichita is NOT a State" slogan is so stupid. Up until a few years ago they were SOUTHWEST MISSOURI STATE. Southwest Missouri is NOT a state either.

I wasn't able to catch a lot of the game, but MSU acted pretty low-major, especially at the end. Talk about a team not acting like they've been there before. They sure used that excuse out well.

The hands waving in the air with 10 seconds left in still a yet to be determined ballgame, Martin once again going absolutely crazy (did anybody actually exchange handshakes??)

MSU can celebrate their meaningless and first Valley title. For the first time in quite a while, it's not a ticket to the NCAA's. They won their first title in a league that's as worse as it's been since the early 1990's.

So go ahead. Kiss your sisters. Celebrate like you just won the National Championship. I really hope these images are burned into our guys' heads and if we meet them in St. Louis, we BURY them and celebrate like there's no tomorrow. I would love to rub that shizit back into their methhead faces in a game of ACTUAL significance.

Your question can be answered in the first sentence of my post if you can read.

I know you haven't been there before. That's what I said. You can celebrate all you want when the game is over, but during the game, your players were acting like d-bags. Did any of the fans slip them any meth?

Just got back from Springfield, time for some observations.

JQH is a very nice arena. I found it weird to find out it only holds 11k, it looks much bigger than Koch. My only complaint would be the concourses are very small and it's a huge traffic jam. It does not get very loud in there at all, but that might've been because I was in the upper deck, not sure.

I was expecting SWOMO fans to be dbags based on their internet postings (and it sounds like some Shockers fans had that experience), but I didn't. The ones I met were very, very nice. When we got to our seats one guy made sure to come over to us and say "welcome" and strike up a conversation. When I was standing in the concourse a couple fans made sure to tell me "good game" as they walked by.

I thought Weems was easily the biggest punk on that team, turns out I was way wrong. It's Creekmore by a mile. Maybe he should spend some time practicing free throws instead of mouthing off.

Toure Murry is simply not very good at basketball. I think that's the nicest way I can put it. I could go on a 5 paragraph rant about this "issue", but I feel it would be much too offensive, demeaning, and inappropriate so I'm going to refrain.

There were a couple times when I was watching Hatch guard Weems and all I could think was "wow." Amazing defense on a couple of those possessions.

We should've gone to the "David Kyles: chuck up 3s offense" sooner, it seemed like he was the only one who could do anything. We had no business even being within single digits if it wasn't for him.


Forgot one thing. I absolutely loved how their intro video included nothing except D2 and CIT accomplishments. The caliber of this conference truly shows when a team like that wins the championship. It also shows the caliber of our team when we can't win a conference like that.

Watching the replay, wow, Creekmore and Weems are absolute d-bags. I've never seen a team celebrate like a YMCA team during the middle of a game like that before.

I hope we meet these guys on Sunday and SMEAR them.



They also seemed to get a lot of 50/50 calls.

I had the sad experience of enduring that game live.
And MAN. I usually can relate to players and can understand their emotion for the good and the bad...

But I lost any respect I had for most of the MOState players. Weems was being a TOOL. I was embarrassed for him or some of the **** he was doing.

Creekmore and Weems were trying to get the crowd involved, which is understandable.
But I think the overabundance of chest pounding and staredowns of our players was.... childish.

That being said.
We played awful.
MSU was the best team today. I thought they played great D in the first half. We made adjustments in the second.
9 turnovers in the first half probably made our D look worse than it was.

Their crowd was pretty stunned by the bombs Kyles was dropping. Alot like the WSU fans were stupified by some of the 3's Leonard was making. I was impressed with his game today.



On a side note:

The players families in attendance were pretty pissed and shocked that they weren't seated behind the bench. Felt disrespected.
Traveled four and a half hours and they couldn't cheer on their husbands and sons from close range. The players never had a chance to feel the support with all the WSU fans stuck in the 3rd bowl.
Felt screwed over to be honest.

I Thought:

Weems acted like a playground punk
Creekmore was a whiney punk
The officitating was mediocre
We made way too many bad decisions (again) especially in the first half
David should have been in more the first half
Joe played pretty solid
We can't afford for Ben not to be a factor offensively
Leonard's last three was a tough shot just like the one in Wichita
This game should not have been for the Valley championship
