Do you think the Shockers can beat CU, DU, ISU, ISU, EU, BU three times?
Good question...probably not, but then that is to give up hope for the rest of the season. I think WSU has a better chance of three wins against anyone they have beaten twice than MSU has of beating WSU three times. I just have to think that from one of these games, the coaches and players will make adjustments based on what they learned in their previous game. Doesn't seem like that has happened yet, so now would be a good time to start.

      But, who knows?

I also think our depth can help us in trying to win 3 games in 3 days. SWOMO started looking tired (especially Creekmore) at the end of today's game. I think they could be very tired by the end of third game in 3 days.

      • I wasn't able to catch a lot of the game, but MSU acted pretty low-major, especially at the end. Talk about a team not acting like they've been there before. They sure used that excuse out well.

The hands waving in the air with 10 seconds left in still a yet to be determined ballgame, Martin once again going absolutely crazy (did anybody actually exchange handshakes??)

MSU can celebrate their meaningless and first Valley title. For the first time in quite a while, it's not a ticket to the NCAA's. They won their first title in a league that's as worse as it's been since the early 1990's.

So go ahead. Kiss your sisters. Celebrate like you just won the National Championship. I really hope these images are burned into our guys' heads and if we meet them in St. Louis, we BURY them and celebrate like there's no tomorrow. I would love to rub that shizit back into their methhead faces in a game of ACTUAL significance.

Our magical depth has helped us to 4 home losses, 2nd place finish in a league we were picked to win, a sweep by SWOMO, etc.

Everybody talks about us having the best depth. We'll see if it's all cracked up to be by next weekend.

            • The depth should help in the tournament. But I'd feel better about it if guys like TM, Stutz, Hatch and perhaps a few more had been having consistently good games.

Wish we had something to run on the court for.
If this game was at Koch we would have not rushed the court.
We did the last time we won the conference.
At least then, we knew it locked us up for an NCAA bid. Same can't be said for the SWOMO Meth-heads.

                • You know, this depth thing is interesting. It's only good if it's good.

                  • depth

                    the depth is misleading.

Stutz' line tonight was awful. In 9 minutes he produced 3 turnovers, 2 fouls and 2 points. He is simply not ready to play in high stakes games. Hope he keeps the warm up jersey on in St Louis because he is a liability right now. I need to review the tape but the impact of those fouls and turnovers directly led to at least 6 points for MSU. Ball game...

WOuld like for Marshall to shorten the bench and go with 7 or 8 guys who are playing well. If we are so deep, then playing more minutes shouldn't be an issue because the players don't have the full season wear and tear.

Usually it's archived at shockerradio.com immediately following the game, but for some reason they haven't archived it yet. Hopefully it will be up soon, 'cause I'm curious too.

                              • I listened. Not much to report.

GM said we needed someone to put the ball in the hole in the first half and they couldn't find the.

His tone and voice seemed even - not despondent, not angry.

He certainly didn't put a positive spin on the comeback.

He didn't say much about St. Louis either, if I recall.
