What else is he suppose to say? It's his job to try and keep the sunshine pumping the best he can.

On the court only. I wouldn't let those turds babysit my pet rattlesnake.
I wouldn't know anything about what those young men are like off the court.
      Are You Gay?
No. Why, are you on the prowl!

      • If the team hasn't learned their "lesson" of starting out horrible in games then I just don't think it's gonna happen. They have had alot of "lessons" and it hasn't done anything yet. I'll be pulling for them, but I'm not getting my hopes up anymore. Good luck to the Shox in St Louis.

        • Our 1st half performance was unfortunate and came back to bite us on the backside. If Mo State was making free-throws as they should, we would not have been quite so close at the end. Kyles came on strong. The Bears are tough at home but I seriously doubt they win the Lew. Even so, they did the deed today and get their first MVC Ship. Now it is high time for our beloved Shocks to get our 1st sweep at the Lew.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

It's very hard to beat a team 3 times in a season. Especially a team that goes about 7 deep and is playing their 3rd game in 3 days, which is what MSU would be attempting in the championship.

I still think we win in STL. Maybe this team has finally learned their lesson about coming out slow. It will definitely be fresh on their minds going in to next weekend.
Plenty of game film for Durley, Stutz, Ellis, Blair and Murry to watch.

I thought DWill did pretty good today. Not great, but pretty good. Ragland and Kyles played strong. Ben Smith wasn't much of a factor today unfortunately.

Well at least we have no reason to be overconfident going in to St. Louis.

Ah, yes, the 97th wake-up call of the season.

The wake up calls are usually good for 3 wins. But that is barely enough to get us where we want to be....

He'd better say St Louis is no guaranteed thing sure win, and that WSU needs to play much better than they did today if they expect to win the MVC tournament.

Take the 9 off the front of that number and that would be about right. Who knows...they are going to have a week to think about today's game. If they could find a way to stretch their energy in the 2nd half out to at least 30-35 minutes a game then they will win the tournament.

                      • We still have a chance to shine in St. Louis but will we?

I really think coach needs to work on his late game situations. We have lost a lot of close ones.

Props to the players for a great road record almost going undefeated.

We still have not won a big game.

"First off, it was great to come here and play. It was a great atmosphere - an unbelievable home court. What great basketball fans in Wichita. This city has a lot to be proud of with fans like that." Coach Bobby Cremmins

We have no consistent go-to player(s) on the team. MSU has multiple guys and almost all of them showed up today.

                            • This team has no mental toughness, and Marshall can't get the right players on the floor. They will not win 3 games in 3 days in St. Louis. This team has been so disappointing. Toure Murray should be benched and Kyles should be getting the bulk of the minutes at the 2, and D-Will can't hold on to the ball he should get as few a minutes as possible, just enough to keep Ragland fresh. Murray has digressed since his freshman year, he has no confidence, he makes the most boneheaded mistakes. I would rather see Smith and Kyles in the game. I don't know when I have been so disappointed in a team. All they had to do is take care of business at home and this game would have been meaningless. They have shown they can't win when it counts the most. They don't play a full 40 minutes smart and hard.
