Its nice to see HCGM has class and didnt run up the score.
To bad Jank didn't understand the situation. While we were playing our 10-14 players, Jank continued, to the end of the game, to play starters, including Carmichael, and main subs. I don't think he had fewer than 3 in there even at the end.
I'm not saying he should not have his players trying, but to have main players continue to press and trap to the end while lesser players sit, just didn't sit well with me.

Agreed. I didn't like it either.
Jankovich just doesn't seem like too bright of a character, from his late-game situations to his scheduling tendencies. I have a feeling his seat is starting to burn.
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

I don't have a problem with that. The only thing I would disagree with (if I were an ISU fan) is that those guys were GASSED and it didn't seem to make sense to keep playing them at that point.
If another coach wants to press the hell out of our scrubs when they're getting it handed to them, great. Our scrubs need to learn to compete.
I don't want to get off on a tangent here, but our incoming recruits had better be very, very good and very, very committed to WSU.

Understatement. We all need to be sure to enjoy the ride this season. Depth like this is something we won't see again any time soon.

I'm not so sure. If HCGM keeps getting the type of players he wants, I could see us having another 10 interchangeable players again. Maybe not next year, or even the year after, but we'll have them again.
I think a lot of people have had moments where the potential of Hamilton, Manigault, Richardson & Williams looked to be exciting. So far I'm not entirely sold on blaming the coach. Williams can be very, very good. Manigault & Hamilton appear to be their own enemies. Richardson shows flashes, but picked up fouls quickly & couldn't score when with the reserves.
Kyles, Murry & Stutz could be incredible next year. Next year my not yet appear to have depth, but its had untapped potential & still does.
I agree with the comparison of Ben Smith to PJ. Similar games, with Ben having a decidedly better outside game. He isn't the defender PJ was, but is more crafty around the basket. Maybe with a slice of Ryan Martin. There is no denying, however, that dude simply knows how to be around the ball. A skill, or gift, that likely can't be taught. We are lucky to have him. Too bad just one more year.
According to a quote in todays article HCGM says he needs to play Ben more. With his strength he can literally rip the ball away from other players as he did on a couple of occasions last night. As far as Rags vs Cousins, I'll take Rags twice over Cousins. Mostly for the fact that Rags is more intelligent than Cousins because if I remember correctly Cousins would not give us a commitment and that led to the recruitment of Rags. See, better overall decision making very evident. This team is playing better and better defense as the season wears on. Some guys would be backing off a little at this point but our Shox seem to be stepping up their game on both ends of the floor and they are looking good. I'm wondering about when we go to play the mouth breathers at swomo if they will send one guy to the offensive boards to try and stop/slow our transition game like they did here the first time. All in all you can't help but like the way our Shox played last night. Go Shox

Doc, might I interpret your concern that the recruits be committed to the school and not just the coach?
I'm not too concerned about next year. Six of 10 will return. Two jucos will have a year under their belt. EO will have another summer of individual attention. One of the best JUCO forwards joining the fold (15 and 7 last night) http://www.nwfdailynews.com/news/coa...-tie-gulf.html. Three pretty good freshmen coming in and possibly one more. Maybe not 10 deep but nine will do.
Im in the process of fixing my whole music library and making sure the properties are correct for each and every song/album/mix that I have on my hard drive.
Last night seemed like a good night to work on it and I did. We just beat the **** out of them last night. The game was never competitive and the boys looked awesome.
