It was torture out at the yard today. Sprinkled for the first hour and by then we were wet. The north wind was howling in our faces all day and it seemed the temperature was slowly falling. Truly a miserable day.

I'm not sure why Rem Johnson isn't the first option out of the pen. Maybe with the "comfortable" lead the coaching staff wants to get the guys coming off arm problems get some work - problem is their effectiveness hasn't been great.

Today's game was far from a thing of beauty. Let's hope for sunny and 70 Sunday.

Rem is a nice story...arm injury during Sr. year at Goddard almost ended any hopes of playing in college, let alone at a storied school as WSU. His Grandfather was a Shocker back in the 50's and is very proud of his grandson. :goshocks:

sorry look like only 58 with winds gusting to 21 from the north. Which means the probably 47 when the clouds don't brake early enough.

Defense looked poor today. It really hurt Tim and kept him from getting out of innings a few pitches sooner. Other than that, it's nice to see the bats coming alive.
