Flynn is having a terrific season for the Royals and will take the mound tonight in his first start of the season. Yost stated he will be capped at 60-70 pitches.

Season stats to date: 2.39 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, 13 G, 26.1 IP, 25 K, 8 BB.

Brian has kept it rolling through August so far:

2.72 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, 39.2 IP and 31 K through 23 appearances. He was the tourniquet the Royals' pen needed when everyone went down with injuries and appears to have played himself into a key middle-relief role down the stretch.
