Rob pitching pretty well although a WP allowed the only run.

Shocker bats, not surprisingly in hibernation.

Being no hit through 3 trialing 1-0.

They have been talking about it being a shorter park, yet the ball doesn't fly out well. Is there something to their theory about the salt in the air?

Shox having all kinds of problems executing. Leave 2 stranded in the 4th.

You can't waste leadoff triples against top 10 teams. That hurts.

6 strikeouts through 5 innings is not good either. They need to put the ball into play.

Wow. You just have to get that runner home. LBSU managed to do it with only the double.

On the bright side at least we managed a couple of decent swings.

This is obviously a very sharp team we are facing.

Rob wiggles out of a 1 out triple with no damage.

Going to the top of the 6th 1-0 Dirtbags.

Add 2 more strikeouts and no runs in the 6th.

Bottom of the 6th, death by paper cut.

I know it was before the run rule, but I swear back in the day, late 80's early 90's I remember WSU consistantly scoring 20+ runs. That may have been only in one season, but couldnt we borrow some of that MOJO?? Seems like forever ago that we actually had an offensively dominating team to compliment our always good pitching staff.
