He’s still very young but I wonder if he’s ranked higher as a pitcher or catcher. It may be too early to even venture an opinion.

His primary position is listed as catcher by PBR.

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Shocks get a verbal from Michael Mulhollon, a 6-4 , 205 lb. LHP from Burlington, Wisconsin (Westosha Central).

Perfect Game rated him 8.5 (potential draft pick and high-level college prospect) and the No. 1 LHP in the state.

Michael Mulhollon is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Burlington, WI who attends Westosha Central. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame, additional room to fill. Lefthanded pitcher, leg lift up to belt and gets taller on backside, low effort delivery and strides online down the mound. Works to a three-quarters release point, fastball topped out at 84 mph and showed short running life to it, low effort delivery and additional velocity to come with more lower half used in drive. Curveball shows 1-7 shape with depth when on top, has a feel for his breaking ball and can back door it to righthanded hitters. Very good student.

Got another one, and he's a rising talent.

Ashton "A.J." Izzi is a 6-3, 160 lb. RHP from Chicago suburb Oswego IL (East).

The 2022 class looks to be a really good recruiting class.

Coaches, no matter where they are, are usually pretty pleased with their recruits. But I get the feeling that this group believes overall that things are coming together much faster than originally expected.

It is paramount that people financially support the programs they are interested in, especially in today's world. I don't think the average person understands how tough things are right now, regardless of where blame may or may not lie.

I think the MLB experience of Pelf and Wedge is really helping on the recruiting side of things.

New commit. Xander "Boogie" McAfee. 6'4" 185 LB CF/OF/1B out of Southwest Christian School in Mansfield, TX. PerfectGame rating of 9 (Potential top 10 round pick and/or highest level college prospect). Looks like a good one!

01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL)Xander continues to show as a prospect in the OF. In the OF, defensive abilities are excellent as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls, playing through with momentum to his target. Range is a plus as he reads balls well off the bat and utilizes his quick feet, covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with on line zip (90 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate he continues to shine. Hands are quick and work to and through a short / direct / level swing path, creating extension. He has strength in his swing and he works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop.
